About The Event
This five-hour ethics course will address confidentiality, informed consent, risk management, professional boundaries; HIPAA requirements, the final Omnibus Rule of 2013 and a review of the 2017 changes to the NASW Code of Ethics. Also included are challenges and opportunities in using technology assisted media and a review of the TeleMental Health(TMH) rule implemented in 2015 by the GA Composite Board. This course does not meet the requirements for the six hours of TMH required for each licensed clinician
